There are only 54 suites with balconies on the Carnival Imagination, but the oceanview staterooms do have large picture windows through which you can take in the view as you sail along. The suites consist of the larger Penthouse suites and the mini-suites, all of which can sleep up to 4 or 5 passengers. The ship is equipped with wheelchair accessible cabins as well as interconnecting cabins for groups or families who want to stay close together on a cruise.

All of the accommodations, whether you choose a suite, an oceanview stateroom or an interior cabin do have bathrobes for your convenience, but they do not have hair dryers. They all have air-conditioning that you adjust to your own comfort level, TV’s, a wall safe for your valuables, refrigerator and well-stocked mini-bar. The basket of complimentary toiletries in the bathrooms of the Imagination is incomparable among the ships of other cruise lines.

Choosing a Penthouse suite may cost you a little extra, but the luxuriousness of the accommodations is well worth the extra cost. The separate bedroom contains a king size bed and there is a sleeper sofa that easily pulls out into a double bed. The regular suites have a queen size bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa that will accommodate one or two more passengers in the sitting room area. In both of these categories of accommodations, the bathrooms feature whirlpool tubs in addition to the standard shower stall.

The oceanview staterooms are quite spacious and are larger than that of most of other cruise lines. They measure 185 square feet and while the bathroom does only have a shower stall, there is ample closet and storage space in the room. There is also a chair and desk with a mirror so this doubles as a vanity table when you want to put on your makeup or fix your hair.

The interior cabins are of the same size as the oceanview cabins and are able to sleep up to four people depending on the cabin you choose. Some of both the oceanview and interior cabins have twin beds that can be changed into a larger single bed, while others have bunk bed sleeping arrangements.
