All staterooms on the Crown Princess offer the state of the art bedding that is the signature of Princess Cruises. The category of cabin you choose depends on the amount of money you want to spend on a cruise, but you do have 13 categories to choose from. The Owner’s Suite is the most luxurious and spacious at 1279 square feet, but even the standard outside and inside cabins measure 161 square feet giving you plenty of room to move around inside.

There are only two connecting staterooms on the Crown Princess so if this is what you need in accommodations for your cruise, you will have to book early. Families travelling on this ship can have adjoining staterooms with the door unlocked between the balconies if they wish.

All accommodations feature closed circuit TV’s, a hair dryer, refrigerator, wall safe and private bathroom. The bathrooms in the standard cabins have a shower only, but those of the suites and deluxe balcony staterooms feature a tub and shower. In fact there is a whirlpool tub in the more expensive accommodations. Some of the other amenities you enjoy as a passenger in one of the suites include complimentary laundry and dry-cleaning services and a welcome glass of champagne upon arrival.

You will feel as if you have your own apartment at sea when you book one of the Grand Suites with separate sleeping and living areas. The bedroom features a queen size bed and there is a sofa in the living room that pulls out to a double bed. There are two TV’s in a suite along with a very large balcony.

The smaller suites on the Crown Princess measure between 461 and 689 square feet and this measurement includes the size of the balcony. Mini-suites measure about 324 square and as is the case with all the other cabins on the ship, there are two twin beds that can be configured into a queen size bed. Oceanview staterooms have a large picture window through which you can watch the sights as you sail along and to let natural light into the room.

The wheelchair accessible accommodations on the ship have unique features for passengers with disabilities. The bathrooms do not contain any steps to the shower and the telephone has been fitted with devices to make it easier to hear the person on the other end of the line. There is even a sensor to let hearing disabled guests know when someone is knocking at the door.
