Anytime or personal choice dining is one of the unique features of the Crown Princess. For those who like the traditional style of dining on a cruise with assigned seating in the dining room, this feature is available at the Michelangelo with two sittings for dinner. However, this ship offers an alternative in the Botticelli and Da Vinci dining rooms with open seating at all times. Dinner is served between 5:30 and 10 p.m. and passengers can just show up between those times. All three offer the same menus, which include a menu just for children and a spa menu for those on a diet.

Horizon Court is open round the clock and is the buffet-style restaurant on the ship. Here you can select dishes from various stations around the room or have them cooked to order. There are no long lines and plenty of room for everyone who wished to dine inside or outside on the balcony. There is a pasta cafe serving specialty dishes as well as a pizzeria where you can also order Caesar salad and garlic rolls.

For your convenience, the Trident Grill is located right by the side of the pool. Serving fast food favourites, this is a popular dining venue during the day, especially for lunch. Beyond the Horizon Court, there is another dining venue featuring themed buffets for lunch and dinner. The theme changes daily providing passengers with a chance to sample cuisine from all over the world.

There are two alternative restaurants on the Crown Princess that have an extra fee for dining in these venues and reservations are required. Sabatini’s is the Italian restaurant on the ship serving mouth-watering dishes with an exquisite view of the sea. The Crown Grill is the steakhouse dining venue where you can also feast on fresh seafood dishes as well as prime rib and grilled specialties.

The Wheelhouse Pub serves pub fare just like you would find in a traditional English pub. In addition to having a drink in this venue you can have a snack during the day or evening hours.

The specialty coffees and teas and delectable pastries of La Patisserie are one of a kind and just beg to be sampled. You may even discover a new beverage that you prefer to drink when you return home.

Of course, room service is available 24 hours, serving full meals as well as sandwiches and salads for time when you just don’t want to leave your stateroom for a bite to eat.
