The Adventure of the Seas is like a small floating city in the wealth of facilities it provides for its guests. Two large pools are located side by side on Deck 11 and there are four hot tubs bubbling right next door. The shopping district on the ship is just like Bourbon Street in New Orleans with its range of shops and cafes opening off the Royal Promenade. The street is huge, being longer than a football field and spanning four decks of the ship.

There are two Atriums on the ship with plenty of venues for you to get the information you need about any aspect of the ship or the cruise.

If you want to get away from the action of the main pools for a while, there is a smaller pool in the Solarium where you will also find a water fountain and a Roman bath. This is the perfect place to come if you want to “relax” by the side of the pool.

There is a pool just for kids as well. Adventure Beach is a wading pool with a padded pool deck. Parents can relax on the lounge chairs and soak up the sun as they keep an eye on the little ones. In this way, everyone has fun at the same time. There are four distinct programs for children on the Adventure of the Seas with age appropriate games and activities. Teenagers don’t have to associate with the younger kids because they have their own program complete with sports tournaments, dance parties and more. There are even nights on the cruise when the counsellors take the children in the various groups to dinner leaving the parents to enjoy the company of adults for a change.

The Skylight Chapel is the perfect venue for getting married at sea with its light pouring through the skylight onto the altar. Business doesn’t have to stop on a cruise either with conference rooms and facilities on this ship and the ship’s photographers will take a professional photo for you to have as a souvenir of your special vacation.

You don’t have to worry about what might happen if you should become ill on the cruise because the medical center is fully staffed and is well able to meet your needs.
