review Review by Thomas Joy

We did not know what to expect when we arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We had heard rumors that this was not the best cruise port in the world or the best place to visit. When we arrived, we made sure that we planned ahead. We set-up an excursion to Peggy%u2019s Cove, getting a cab ride that took us roughly 45 minutes to get there. Peggy%u2019s Cove was a great sights. This little fishing community is a real treat to see. It is mainly a tourist attraction now, but there were still some locals who fish for lobster. Seeing St. John%u2019s Anglican Church was also pretty great. This place just felt like it had so much history to it, it is well-worth visiting and makes Halifax a great stop on any cruise itinerary.
