Allure of the Seas image
This is the 6th time that my family and I have decided to go on a cruise for a vacation. Me and my husband traveled 5 times in the past on Carnival cruise lines on a variety of different Carnival ships. This time, we decided to change things up with a Western Caribbean cruise on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines’ Allure of the Seas.

I have to admit that the Allure of the Seas was an absolutely AMAZING ship! This thing was the best ship we have ever seen and made for a tremendous vacation!

The Allure of the Seas is an absolutely monstrous ship. This thing is HUGE on so many levels. Just looking at it in the dock is a thing of beauty, absolutely flawless in so many ways.

Departing for the Western Caribbean, we started with a stop in Haiti, which was a beautiful place to visit. From there, we made our way to Jamaica, as well as Cozumel.

Jamaica and Cozumel were both enjoyable stops. Make sure that you book a shore excursion when you get to Jamaica ahead of time, as the majority of the stuff to see is a good 20 or 30 minutes away. If you do not book an excursion, just make your way to Margaritaville, it is not far at all and the restaurant was delicious, with some great blender drinks!

The dining experienced was just as good as the rest of the vacation. The food was excellent and the wait staff was even better. The only downside though was that there were menu items that actually required an extra charge, this I was not pleased to see but what can you do.

We did not do any of the specialty restaurants, but Johnny Rockets and the Rita Cantina were always available.

One thing which I am absolutely going to tell you to stay away from is a cabin that has a room with a conjoining door. It was noisy and we could hear everything that our neighbors were doing, including fighting which was not the most pleasant experience.

Overall though this was a tremendous cruise, 5 out of 5 stars, an amazing ship! The rock climbing, zip lining, table tennis, and more all made for the best cruise we have ever been on!
