Allure of the Seas image
Pre-cruise Hotel: A

We booked a room at the Hilton at Fort Lauderdale Airport because they offered a cruise package. I read some negative reviews about the place and that it was sub-Hilton par. We were surprised at how untrue they were. From when we got there until we left, staff were very helpful and courteous. The building was old but the beds were comfortable enough for one night.

Embarkation: A+

Having previously sailed on the Allure we already knew how seamless the process was. We were met at the port by a crew member who took our baggage on board so we didn't have to go through the efficient procedures while worrying about our suitcases.

Ship: A+

Seeing the magnificent ship again left us breathless. We even explored and found new things that weren't on our previous cruises on the Allure. Seating and loungers on the pool deck were plentiful but not right beside the pool. We should have got there sooner, huh?

Cabin: A+

We were extremely pleased with how spacious the cabin was. We had a Boardwalk view balcony that had two twin beds, TV, telephone and refrigerator. It felt like we were staying in a hotel. There was plenty of storage space and a lot of space between the bed and the closets. Our room steward was genuinely friendly and gave us the impression that he cared about our experience and wasn't just asking because it was his job.

Food: A

We ate breakfast in the Solarium everyday because they have a range of healthy, filling breakfasts that are suitable for vegetarians. The restaurant crew were all friendly and just generally amazing at handling whatever situation they faced. We had confidence that we were in good hands.

Entertainment: A+

All the shows were amazing. We seen Chicago, Oceanaria and Ice Games. The cast in each show were very professional and extremely talented.

Disembarkation: A

After the pleasant experience we had during embarkation because we didn't have to worry about our baggage, we chose to use the luggage valet again. What a smooth process it is too. After you leave your luggage outside your door on the final night you don't see them until you go through customs.
