Explorer of the Seas image
This was our 3rd time cruising with Royal Caribbean, and this time we took a trip on the Explorer of the Seas to Bermuda.

We took off this time from Port Cape Liberty, with the embarkation that was as easy as could be. The porter and everyone during the check-in process made this flow very easily.

We were quickly onboard the ship and ready to depart for the beautiful island of Bermuda.

Our statement steward Kenia did a great job of taking care of us the whole week. We booked an Ocean View room on deck 3 and were not disappointed. We were close to the elevators, and were able to walk to most of the areas of the ship, including the Gym a few floors up, as well as the Palace Theater.

We went to the main dining room most of the nights for dinner, as well as for lunch and breakfast here and there when we felt the need for a more formal meal. The dinners were great, but the time schedules for these were not the most convenient for us. The Windjammer was tremendous though for when you wanted some quick breakfast or lunch.

You will quickly remember Washy as he was always there to make sure you had clean hands when you entered the buffet area for some chow, as well as the Palace Theater and other public areas.

Chair hogs do not bother me but if you are one that does get bothered by this, be sure you get outside early to get an open chair. The pool area filled up rather quickly.

The entertainment was top notch, Home Free were great. We did not do any excursions, but instead explored Bermuda on our own.

Overall we had a great cruise and the ship was excellent, we would definitely book RCCL again in a heartbeat!
