Queen Victoria image
The Queen Victoria is certainly not the most modern ship out there, but it is the type of ship that still has a lot of character and can stand on its own. The Queen Victoria is considered a mid-sized ship in my opinion, holding around 2,000 passengers in total.

positives of cruise Positives of Cruise
When we first got onboard, we were pleased with what we found for our cabin, as the space was definitely more than me and my wife needed. The only troubling part of the cabin was that there were not many drawers, but we made it work as it was clean for the whole week, and there when we needed it.

The set-up of the Queen Victoria makes for a very fun cruise atmosphere. The whole ship, even tough it only holds 2,000 passengers, never felt crowded in any of the public rooms. There was always a quiet place to grab a drink, talk with people, read a book if you pleased, play a game, and so on. By far, the Commodore Club on deck 10 was our pick of the litter in terms of where to hang out during the time onboard.

The theater was also tremendous, and the entertainment was up to par with great resident singers. The dancers and two comedians that were onboard were also quite good, making for fun entertainment throughout, do not miss the Beatles tribute show!

The crew and staff did their absolute best to make sure that we had the best week possible. They went out of their way during dinner, cleaning the room, helping out at the bar, and so on. They were brilliant on every single level.

negative of cruise Negatives of Cruise
The one negative that I do want to point out is that the prices that are charged by Cunard Cruise Lines for drinks is a bit steep in my humble opinion. For example, the cheapest bottle of wine on the menu was $30, and that does not include a service charge that gets added on top. Even a bottle of regular water was in the area of $3.50, too much in my opinion.

I would reccomend this cruise to others.

I think this cruise is suitable for Couples.
