Island Princess image As the third largest cruise ship in the world, the Island Princess has everything you want in a cruise along the west coast of North America or through the Panama Canal. There are 10 categories of cabins to choose from and 85% of these have balconies for the comfort and enjoyment of the 1970 passengers it can carry. Four pools onboard will more than provide for your need for swimming or lounging on the deck taking in the action and the rays of the sun. One of these, the Lotus Pool, has a retractable roof and there is an additional pool for small children to play in. Work out on the latest in fitness equipment at the gym, have a treatment at the spa or relax in one of the nine whirlpools on the ship. There are two main dining rooms on the Island Princess, where you can choose traditional style dining or Personal Choice Dining, which means you can sit wherever you wish. In addition, there is a buffet style restaurant that is open 24 hours a day, a pizzeria and two alternative restaurants on this ship. With the many choices, you certainly won’t be hungry. For your entertainment, there are many bars and lounges offering a variety of acts and musical genres. The Princess Theater is the setting for large scale productions, but there are many smaller venues where you can sit and have a chat with your fellow passengers over cocktails.
